The Sun and retrograde Venus conjunct in what is called an
inferior conjunction (when Venus is between the earth and the sun) as the
Leader (the Sun) and the Lover (Venus) come together in chatty Gemini. Are they
having a pleasant, invigorating conversation? Or, is the power of the Sun
burning up all the Venus sweetness? One thing is for sure -- the issues of
relationships and diplomacy are receiving a major review, personally and
globally. Six or seven days from now at the heliacal rising, Venus becomes a
morning star. This period is known for unstable political situations.
Astrologer Bruce Scofield refers to this period as ripe for resignations,
accidents and storms.
